Far more memorable to Americans is the O.J. Simpson car chase….exactly 14 years ago today.

We all know that O.J. was found innocent of the murders, but here’s something I did not realize (quoted from http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history.do?action=Article&id=1033):

“In a civil trial brought about by the families of the victims, Simpson was found responsible for causing Goldman’s death and committing battery against Brown in February 1997, and was ordered to pay a total of $33.5 million, little of which he has paid.”
